COVID-19 Update

Updated: Jul 22

NEW COVID-19 Update for Clinic & Shelter (below):

Clinic: All of us here at AWS Freeman-Fritts Veterinary Clinic and Shelter want to assure our clients that we are planning on staying open to serve our patients in this time of need. We have implemented extra cleaning and disinfecting of our clinic and shelter, however, we feel that extra precautions are required in order to continue to be able to keep our staff healthy and our doors open!

If you are sick, have a fever, cough, sore throat or flu like symptoms please reschedule any appointments in order to keep our staff healthy and our clinic open.

If you have recently traveled out of the country or to the East or West Coast or any other areas with a high rate of Covid-19 infections please reschedule any appointments in order to keep our staff healthy and our clinic open.

If you have been in contact with someone that is ill or is in quarantine please reschedule in order to keep our staff healthy and our clinic open. Please keep the number of family members accompanying your pet to our clinic to the minimum number to decrease any chance of exposure.

We will be offering the following services at this time:

Curbside Care: As of Monday, March 23rd we ask for you to remain in your car and call the clinic at 257-4144 to check in.

  • We will come out to your car to get your pet and bring them into the clinic.

  • If you are Boarding or dropping off your pet; call and we will come out to get them. Cats MUST be in a secure carrier and dogs on leashes.

  • Credit cards can be taken over the phone and cash collected curbside.

Telemedicine: We may be able to provide some medical care via phone/texts/etc. for certain conditions that would alleviate the need for a visit to the clinic.

Our regular prices will apply to these services if provided. Please call to see if your pet qualifies for this service.

Prescription Refills: You may pay for your prescription over the phone or at curbside and we will bring it to your car. Remember to please call ahead for all prescription refills.

Heartworm/Flea Products/Prescription Food: You may pay for your products over the phone or at curbside and we will bring it to your car.
