Empty Bins, Full Hearts

It was an empty trailers, empty bins, and very full hearts kind of ending to a truly fabulous day.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is how we wrapped up our very first Paws N Claws event in December, co-hosted alongside one of our nearest and dearest rescue partners, Texas Round Up Animal Alliance.

It was an empty trailers, empty bins, and very full hearts kind of ending to a truly fabulous day.

We are especially grateful to Kerr Business Services, who graciously let us use the drive in front of their business.

Together, we provided food for over 677 animals, helping more than 110 families ensure their beloved pets didn’t go without.

This year has been especially tough since the Fourth of July flood, which deeply impacted so many local families. Even so, our community continues to come together in powerful ways, showing up not only for one another, but for the animals who rely on us every day. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a caring community—watching neighbors help neighbors and partners working side by side is simply amazing.

We are already hopeful to bring Paws N Claws back again this spring. So stay tuned.

And for those who are able, donations of dog and cat food are still greatly needed as we continue supporting families and their pets.
