As we closed out 2025, we paused to reflect on a year that changed us in more ways than one.
It had tested our hearts and our strength—especially in the wake of the devastating Fourth of July flood. In the midst of uncertainty and loss, our community (and so many beyond it) came together in ways we will never forget. What you see below may look like numbers, but to us, each one represents a face, a heartbeat, a life that mattered—and a life that was helped or saved.
2025 by the numbers:
- 526 animals rescued
- 445 lives that found forever homes through adoptions and rescue transfers
- 1,806 low-cost or free spay/neuter surgeries, helping prevent future suffering
- 1,667 families and pets supported through community assistance services
- 8,000+ pounds of dog and cat food purchased and distributed during and after the flood, when families and pets needed it most
None of this happened by chance. It happened because of compassion. Because of people who showed up. Because of a community that refused to turn away when animals—and the families who love them—needed help the most.
As we step into 2026, we do so with gratitude in our hearts and hope for even greater things ahead: more lives saved, more families kept together, and continued progress toward a safer future for animals in our community.
There is still time to give as the year came to a close. If you feel it on your heart to donate, please know that your support directly changes lives—offering safety, healing, and second chances to those who deserve it most.
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for believing in this mission. And thank you for being part of every life we save.
