How to Become an FF Volunteer

Step 1: Explore Volunteer Opportunities

We offer a variety of ways for you to get involved! Take a look at our Volunteer Opportunities to learn about the different departments and activities where you can make an impact.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Socialize the dogs or cats by playing with them, walking them or simply spending time brushing them to help make them more adoptable.
  • Transport animals to rehabilitation or to other area rescues.
  • Work our booth at Market Days or use your creative skills to make unique items for us to sell there or in the clinic to help raise funds for the shelter.
  • Assist at off site adoptions or other community events.
  • Help maintain our buildings and grounds.
  • Help us fundraise.
  • Share your special skills or talents, we are open to ideas.
